The Prelinger Archives has over 45,000 short films available in the public domain. They are free to download. It’s quite exciting.
The British Pathe archive allows access to 3500 hours of copyrighted newsreels from 1896 to 1970. (I have linked to this before.)

They’ve picked a bunch of comic books that they liked from 2002 and they have too.
If only I had time to look these over in my detail… possibly later.

It is worth standing up for people who are mistreated in this fashion. Either we, the people, own and create the space that we live in, or the ‘little-man’ power freaks do.
